Hi guys!

While browsing the wiki and adding some categories to the available pages, I noticed that almost all pages are created within sub-namespaces, like http://ggdd.skenmy.com/wiki/Game_Characters/Humanoid_Races

This won't allow a nice listing on the category page http://ggdd.skenmy.com/wiki/Category:Game_Characters because all pages start with letter 'G'.

It would be a better approach to use categories for the logical structure and have all pages on the main namespace. I'd like to move some of the pages to start this, so all of you can examine the structure. Any objections on this? Smile

Sub-namespaces could be used for wiki internal stuff like help pages or Templates, like my first template for incomplete pages: http://ggdd.skenmy.com/wiki/Template:Incomplete On the discussion page is a small code snippet how to include this on pages that should be edited again.

I added a page http://ggdd.skenmy.com/wiki/Backend that demonstrates the categories and the incomplete template. You can see the page appear automagically on the category list at http://ggdd.skenmy.com/wiki/Category:Game_Engine and the list of incomplete pages at http://ggdd.skenmy.com/wiki/Category:Incomplete .

As long as we can go in and do what we need to do, I'm for it. Though, I can do what I need to do now, so as long as you don't break anything, I say, have fun. Cool
