Well... I've decided to remake this project from actionscript 2.0 to as3. I'm going to make it object oriented and I've had second thoughts about the design. The old version made with as2 is here: http://www.typhoonent.com/cdf/old/cdf.html Where I'm at now is here: http://www.typhoonent.com/cdf/cdf.html The old version can only load pictures and swf files. All that I've done for the as3 version is I've started working on the menu but now I'm not sure what I should do for the interface. I don't think that the as2 interface will work very well for the long run so I'm trying to think of a better one but am having a little difficulty. Currently the layout that I've kind of made is here: http://www.typhoonent.com/cdf/cdflayout.html I would like some thoughts on this on how the interface should be designed. Some stuff that I want to include in the interface is here: http://www.typhoonent.com/cdf/thoughts.txt For the interface I'm thinking of having something like 3 side bars that can me collapsed to give more space. This would expand to video to proportionally fill the free space. Maybe I could have something like tabs to put all in one spot. This may just be the best way of doing it. Any other thoughts?
